Biotechnology Briefing Coordinator, Lead

Key Role:

Provide technical and project management support to senior-level DoD clients and contractors as a briefing coordinator. Provide support to diverse efforts in biotechnology, through detailed research and analysis of technical approaches and current state-of-the-art technologies to assist with developing office strategy. Work as part of a team to assist clients with managing the office’s portfolio of programs, both technically and programmatically. Develop strategic presentations and messaging on behalf of client, providing technical input and expertise.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with a background in biology

-Experience with project management and contract management

-Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

-Experience in working with the US federal government or DoD

-Ability to show flexibility, initiative, and innovation and deal with ambiguous, fast-paced situations

-Ability to take on multiple tasks beyond the key role

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to work daily on client site in Arlington, VA

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to work on biology focused programs and learn and research new technical areas

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

​-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

-MS degree in a technical area, including Biology, Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics preferred; PhD degree a plus
