Business Analyst

Key Role:

Perform project tasks independently and direct the efforts of others. Participate in and lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract. Analyze and optimize business processes in support of overall business operations and technology enablement, usage, and adoption. Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues. Review deliverables for accuracy and quality. Help clients transition from spreadsheet and Outlook–based process to a modern work management solution.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with consulting or the client industry

-Experience in working independently with minimal guidance and exercising mature judgment

-Experience with prioritizing the workload effectively to meet deadlines and work objectives

-Experience with business process automation or an equivalent technology, analyzing current state processes, and performing in–depth analysis of each activity in the current as–is state to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for updates, improvement, and reengineering

-Experience with executing workshops to review business process maps and identify opportunities for process reengineering and automation 

-Ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

-Ability to use process and productivity metrics to support the development and coordination of a key regulatory and review information management structure, including development of stewardship to ensure information integrity, quality, and consistency

-Ability to comprehend and document business requirements, functional requirements, and system touch–points, including management–driven requirements, reporting and dashboard requirements, and workflow requirements for business processes

-Ability to obtain a security clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with services or federal consulting

-4+ years of experience in working with Lean Six Sigma

-4+ years of experience with business process modeling tools

-4+ years of experience with business process reengineering
-Possession of excellent problem–solving and troubleshooting skills

-BA or BS degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a business–related field
