Business Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Perform project tasks independently and direct the efforts of others. Participate and lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract. Analyze and optimize business processes to support overall business operations and technology enablement, usage, and adoption. Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues. Review deliverables for accuracy and quality. Help clients to transition from spreadsheet, and Outlook-based processes to a modern work management solution. Maintain responsibility for being the key coordinator between customers and multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts and application of best practices, including e-business practices.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with consulting or the client industry

-3+ years of experience implementing work management solutions using case management and business process modeling solutions, including Appian and IBM

-Experience with designing activity and process models using proven methodologies to satisfy client requirements

-Experience with developing and documenting rules for business process automation and analyzing current state processes, including performing in-depth analysis of each activity in the current as-is state to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for updates, improvement, IT implementation, modeling, and reengineering

-Experience with executing workshops to review business process maps and identifying opportunities for process reengineering and automation 

-Experience with analyzing, comprehending, and documenting business requirements and processes, functional requirements, and system touch-points, including management-driven requirements, reporting and dashboard requirements, and workflow requirements for business processes

-Ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

-Ability to use process and productivity metrics to support the development and coordination of a key regulatory and review information management structure, including development of stewardship to ensure information integrity, quality, and consistency

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with services or federal consulting

-2+ years of experience in working with Lean Six Sigma

-2+ years of experience with business process modeling tools

-2+ years of experience with business process reengineering
-Experience with Health and Human Services

-Experience with prioritizing the workload effectively to meet deadlines, problem-solving, and work objectives

-Experience in working independently with minimal guidance and exercising mature judgment

-BA or BS degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a business-related field
