Business/Data Analyst

Key Role:
Support business and data analyses to inform program decisions and management recommendations. Execute modeling and measuring techniques and use mathematics, statistical and engineering methods, and operational mathematics techniques. Conduct statistical, economic, or quantitative analyses to support an organization's information, decision, and planning needs. Analyze the development of cost or risk analyses, cost controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting and statistical techniques to evaluate contract and program status, develop cost benefit analysis, conduct analysis of alternatives, and develop business cases and perform other economic analyses while ensuring compliance with government, commercial and international requirements. Work is in a fast-paced, highly-flexible client and team environment. 

Basic Qualifications: 
-Experience with working on a team in a multi-disciplinary and collaborative environment
-Experience with business and data analyses, including data collection and normalization
-Experience with analysis and modeling in Microsoft Excel
-Experience with coding in any computer language 
-Experience with presentation development in Microsoft PowerPoint
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Statistics, or Finance

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with parametric and analogous estimating, including multivariate regression analysis, classification algorithms, time series analysis, risk analysis, and cost improvement curve analysis
-Experience with coding in analytical languages, including R, Python, SQL, VBA, and Matlab 
-Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau
-Experience with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT)
-Experience with Microsoft Access or other database software
-Experience with supporting the US Army or other DoD clients
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to convey insights to audiences of varying technical backgrounds
-Possession of excellent problem solving skills, including using intellectual curiosity to solve business problems
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
-Secret clearance
-MBA or MS degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
-Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst, Business or Data Analysis, or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
