Business Process Consultant, Senior

Key Role:

Leverage expertise in general management consulting and process improvement to assist a DoD client with identifying, scoping, and planning large, complex organizational change initiatives, including IT improvements, business process improvements, or management efficiencies. Facilitate Business Process Model Notation (BPMN) and Business Process Reengineering (BPR) with senior military clients, using industry best practices and critical thinking to capture and analyze findings. Assess the capabilities of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products and develop recommendations to modify and enhance processes and document requirements. Develop conclusions and strategic recommendations, write reports, and present findings or results to clients. Serve as a focal point for multiple cross-organizational programs that promotes business process, IT, and financial efficiencies.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience in business process analysis, mapping and reengineering, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation and implementation

-Experience with business process model notation (BPMN), business process reengineering (BPR), organizational change management, or human capital management

-Experience with developing business process analysis methodologies to evaluate, standardize, document and implement improvements to business processes using modeling applications, including Microsoft Visio, and System Architect

-Experience with DoD business process as military, civilian or contractor

-Knowledge of business process modeling solutions

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree required

-BPMN, Business Process, or PMP Certification, preferred

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD enterprise-wide Personnel or Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, including PeopleSoft 9.2, SAP, or large ERP systems

-Experience in collaborating with technical and functional teams to develop system solution options and provide SME advice for business processes

-Knowledge of leading the design and delivery of complex human capital transformation and change management programs, including extensive knowledge of people-related competencies to do the following

-Ability to prioritize and identify process improvement opportunities within As-is processes using analysis and prioritization methods, including manual and automated processes

-Ability to support multiple initiatives and balance resources and time concurrently to meet iterative requirements and changing priorities

-Ability to prepare and brief senior executives on complex business topics

-Ability to collect and organize data effectively and performing basic analysis, including benchmarking reports, and financial, market, and operational analyses

-Ability to structure approaches to solve discrete problems, deliver clear requests for information, and show flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks

-Ability to translate a vision into strategic and tactical plans and execute resulting plans with minimal supervision

-BA or BS degree in Business, Management, Economics, Government, Political Science, or Industrial Engineering, preferred
