Business Process Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Work with organizations to redesign business processes and provide clients with management consulting on organization redesign and new business processes. Assist with the analysis and implementation of process improvements as a member of the project team. Support practice development initiatives, assisting business development teams with writing proposals. Maintain daily contact with lower to middle level client staff for information and data collection and participate in client meetings. Supervise and review the work of less experienced personnel and provide training.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with industry methods for process improvement, organizational design, or performance optimization

-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the US and work up to 100% of the time alongside clients at locations in the National Capital Region

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with business process reengineering, IT acquisition, Clinger-Cohen Act Compliance, organizational change management, Lean Six Sigma, strategic planning, organizational design, integrated master scheduling, performance management, or overhead optimization

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Excel

-Possession of excellent data gathering and analysis skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Business, Management, Economics, Government, Political Science, or Industrial Engineering preferred; MA or MS degree a plus

-Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), or PMP Certification
