Business Process Engineer

Key Role:
Facilitate or lead a small team of USCYBERCOM business experts responsible for supporting USCYBERCOM directorates in the management of increased and new workload resulting from Command elevation. Leverage expertise in business process improvement and process design, including analyzing the development of workflows and business rules. Perform scheduling and administration, review command and logistics policies and processes, deliver recommendations for updates or new policies and processes, and provide analysis and recommendations to support mission-oriented business functions, applications, and systems. Align processes, systems, policies, and organizational structures with the mission and strategy of the organization and command and analyze existing workflows or the development of new ones with the goal of identifying process inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Create process change by integrating new processes to improve existing ones and communicate these changes to impacted stakeholders. Plan and implement approved business solutions and develop metrics. Use methods to collect those metrics to measure operational efficiency, develop innovative solutions, and recommend and facilitate quality improvement efforts.


Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with participating in business process reengineering (BPR) activities using process improvement methodologies, including BPR, Lean Six Sigma, or CPI
-Knowledge of USCYBERCOM structure
-Ability to pay strict attention to detail
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree or 5 years of experience with business process engineering


Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of activity transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis, modern business methods, and performance measure techniques
-Knowledge of how to use BPR or other industry standard improvement methodology and process change management principles to reengineer processes, reduce redundancy, and increase efficiency
-Ability to provide technical assistance to analyze the development of change management plans, reports, processes, business policy, regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with minimal guidance
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in a business-related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
