Business Requirements Manager

Key Role:

Manage, analyze, and support business systems requirements for DoD IT systems. Analyze and update current requirements development and traceability processes. Lead discussions during requirements gathering and review sessions, manage requirements project schedules, including estimating time frames for requirements capture, respond to all client responses and feedback, draft and finalize requirements artifacts, including business requirements, use cases, user stories, data requirements, and inter-system interface mapping, and work with the developer and client to ensure all requirements are agreed and validated. Conduct issue management by running analyses and queries against test and production databases to identify issues, determine the scope of the issues, and verify report metrics.  Propose issue resolution, summarize issue descriptions and action plans for the client, resolve issues, as appropriate, and communicate resolution to client and field users. Collaborate with other Service and DoD-level organizations for inter-system interface resolutions.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with in-depth requirements process management

-5+ years of experience with requirements analysis and engineering using SDLC Waterfall and Agile methodologies
-3+ years of experience with change control activities, including scope management and impact and gap analysis
-5+ years of experience with using requirements management tools, including RequisitePro, Case Complete, JIRA, JAMA, Rally, and HP ALM
-2+ years of experience with developing test plans and cases and performing UAT
-5+ years of experience with business process reengineering, including human factors
-5+ years of experience with creating and using process and data flow diagrams

-Secret clearance
-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with inter-system interface data mapping

-Experience with researching, selecting, implementing, and using a requirements management tool

-Experience with Agile development practices
-Experience with building reports and queries using Relational Databases or Business Intelligence (BI) products

-Experience in working with entellitrak, Oracle, and MicroStrategy products a plus

-Knowledge of DoD IT systems and processes
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with developers and clients and writing clear and concise requirements documentation
