Business Strategist and Solutions Architect, Senior

Key Role:
Provide thought leadership, market research, and business case and solutions development across multiple industry verticals and build solutions that disrupt current state business models of service delivery or operations by integrating future and emerging solutions and methodologies to achieve a mission-focused and technology-enabled business environment. Provide technical thought leadership based on industry trends and drive relevant innovations into client markets to differentiate the firm’s brand. Develop trusting and credible partnerships with colleagues, clients, other industry leaders, and external vendors to understand mission or operational challenges and influence positive change. Impact and deliver upon commitments with exceptional quality delivery to become an essential partner to clients and stakeholders. Lead the creation of go-to-market strategies and identify favorable market segments, analyze customer and competitor behavior, outlined revenue targets and negotiated performance metrics, and lead initial R&D and corporate venturing projects. Work across a diverse set of internal stakeholders to create client-specific and relevant technical strategies, communicate key ideas in person and in writing in clear concise language to client executives, business sponsors, and other technical resources, and collaborate with internal functional and technical managers including account leadership. Play a lead role in attracting, developing, and retaining diverse strategy and solutions development talent.

Basic qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with developing new service offerings, products, and fee-based services that have the capacity to scale across clients or mission challenges
-7+ years of experience with designing, developing, and deploying pilot solutions to help scale across business units or other organizations
-7+ years of experience with developing go-to-market strategies across targeted market segments
-5+ years of experience with a broad range of technologies, including Cloud computing strategies, such as IAAS, SAAS, PAAS, Cloud Web services capabilities, Big Data, COTS and GOTS technologies and solutions
-Experience with designing and launching new offerings, including the development of prototyping engagements with external partners
-Experience with capture management, including leveraging strategy or technology expertise and conceptualizing business and technical solutions and supporting an integrated account and partnering with opportunity capture team within a matrixed organization where collaboration and a team-centric culture are paramount for success
-Knowledge of emerging technologies, trends and insights, including social media, mobile and omni-channel and how to serve as a subject matter expert
-Ability to leverage consulting and analytical expertise, including gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing public and private sector digital trends, and best practices and applying them to client environments to define the direction for new technology or digital solutions
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with commercial sales or commercial consultancy 
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for both public and internal forums
-MBA degree
