Business Systems Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Perform as a key member of a high-functioning team responsible for assisting a government client with formulating and defining the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) systems scope and objectives based on user needs. Gain thorough comprehension of MPTE business systems and current or future requirements. Identify current or future requirements being driven by the U.S Navy personnel and pay modernization and IT transformation initiatives. Perform detailed research and analyze data management strategy, governance, policy, CONOPS, use cases, and other documents, as directed by the government client or contractor task lead. Assist data users, including system managers, researchers, and analysts with service requests for implementing or amending system interfaces and data transfers through compliance review, under general direction. Devise or modify procedures for data management practices. Assist team members with providing support to client as needed for enterprise information management.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with business analysis or documentation specialist work

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products at an advanced level, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project

-Knowledge of Navy business systems

-Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree or 5 years of experience as a business systems analyst

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the data management community’s practice and body of knowledge, including data architecture concepts and activities, relational and logical databases, and building and maintaining enterprise data models, such as subject area, conceptual, logical, and relational

-Knowledge of business analyst tools and techniques analysis of business and user needs, value stream analysis, documenting requirements, and translation into future system requirements

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including drafting, reviewing, and editing technical graphics, documents, and briefings

-BA or BS degree preferred; MA or MS degree a plus

Clearance:
