Business Systems Analyst

Key Role:

Provide business systems analysis and business intelligence reporting support for a sexual assault case management database, including requirements engineering, testing, and privacy analysis throughout the development life cycle of the system and reports and metrics development. Assist with gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements artifacts, including process and context diagrams, user stories, use cases, and requirements. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, including UAT test plans, scripts, test results matrices, and defect lists and assisting with conducting analysis and queries against a test and production database to identify issues, determine the scope of the issues, and verify report metrics. Support the configuration management process, including distribution list maintenance, meeting agenda development, decision documentation, and follow-on actions. Provide MicroStrategy technical support in building and maintaining ad hoc reports, dashboard, and metrics for users. Ensure the database complies with DoD and federal laws and regulations by developing, maintaining, and updating relevant privacy impact assessments, system of records notices, privacy act statements, report control symbols, paperwork reduction act licenses, official forms, and disposition schedules. Prepare release communications, update documentation, maintain training materials and a master schedule, and deliver user training and other associated training tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with requirements analysis or engineering using SDLC Waterfall or Agile

-2+ years of experience with testing, including analyzing the development of test plans and test cases and performing UAT

-2+ years of experience writing clear and concise requirements, system, and user documentation

-1+ years of experience with developing graphical reports using a MicroStrategy or business intelligence tool, including suggesting improvements proactively

-1+ years of experience with using a requirements management tool, including RequisitePro, Case Complete, or JIRA

-1+ years of experience with performing configuration management activities, including conducting impact analysis and tracking change requests, defects, and releases using a tool and change control documentation

-Experience with privacy, internal collections, and records management

-Experience with providing user training for a database or other system

-Experience with data analysis using Microsoft Excel formulas and functions, including comprehending data and drawing conclusions from complex reports

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with engineering, including gap analysis, issue analysis and solution, and system architecture

-Experience with DoD authority to operate process

-Experience with server platform administration

-Knowledge of DoD sexual assault prevention and response

-Ability to work on the client site

-Active Public Trust clearance
