C-IED and Asymmetric Warfare Trainer

Key Role:

Serve as a Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) and Asymmetric Warfare (AW) Training Developer or Integrator, supporting the Army National Guard mission. Ensure unity of the command in supporting Training Readiness Authority (TRA) by developing individual and collective C-IED and AW training strategies incorporating multiple assets. Coordinate with Garrison and State activities to improve C-IED and AW training facilities, ranges and employ training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations. Assess, update, and deliver C-IED and AW training and associated products. Coordinate with commanders and assist units with planning virtual and live C-IED and AW training. Execute specialized C-IED and AW education and training for attack the network (AtN), electronic warfare (EW), biometrics, homemade explosives (HME), site exploitation and route clearance. Synchronize arrival, sustainment, and prioritization for standard and non-standard C-IED and AW equipment, including training resources. Assist with planning virtual and live C-IED and AW training across multiple sites. Provide continuity and expertise that enable awareness and effective use of assets to support C-IED and AW training.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with the US Army

-4+ years of experience with leading training

-4+ years of experience in the counter improvised explosive field

-Experience with C–IED training

-Experience with deployment to the MENA region

-Experience with biometrics

-Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW)

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Army National Guard

-Experience as an observer and controller

-Experience with conducting After Action Reviews (AAR)

-BA or BS degree
