C4ISR Network Engineer

Key Role:

Design and plan C4ISR network communications systems, and provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conduct testing of network design. Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, including routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways. Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network. Work on unusually complex technical problems, and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious, and view as an advance consultant with capability knowledge at client delivery in a specific area. Take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to help the firm grow its business, including serving as the organization’s spokesperson on advanced projects and programs.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in C4ISR and Army Networks

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field

-Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, or Cisco Certified Network Professional, or CompTIA Network+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as an Army Warrant officer -255N Network Management Technician or 255Z Senior Network Operations Technician or Army Signal Officer -24N Telecommunications Systems Engineer

-Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
-MA or MS degree in Network Engineering or CS
