Case Management Business Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as the go-to person to integrate business goals and objectives with specific information technology (IT) strategies, programs, initiatives, and investments. Advise organizational leadership on emerging technologies, how to implement those, and work alongside leadership to ensure IT and business planning are fully integrated on a continuous basis to increase business capability and value, reduce cost and risk, foster innovation, and maximize accountability and return on investment. Serve as a senior IT analyst for software application modifications and new agile development. Work directly with business SMEs to document user stories, requirements, and process visualization. Interface with clients and project stakeholders, both federal and contracted staff, to drive and facilitate client needs and ensure successful project completion. Provide guidance and direction to staff of different skills and seniority. Maintain responsibility for analyzing change requests (CRs) for each release, reviewing requirements artifacts, and providing level of effort (LOE) estimates and timely status updates.

Basic Qualifications

-Experience with industry standard software development best practices for Agile and iterative SDLCs, testing methodologies, version control systems, implementation, deployment activities, and quality assurance

-Experience with writing clear and concise requirements documentation

-Experience with developing test plans and test cases

-Ability to perform data analysis, comprehend data, and draw conclusions from complex reports

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail and set priorities and handle multiple projects concurrently

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-Experience with developing Case Management Systems, including Appian preferred

-Experience with Jira

-Experience with system and data warehouse migration testing, involving data completeness, integrity, and transformation

-Experience with building reports and queries using relational databases or Business Intelligence (BI) products

-Experience with analysis using advanced Microsoft Excel formulas, functions, or Access database

-Experience with process and data flow diagrams

-Experience with business process re-engineering

-Experience with interface data mapping

-Experience with change control activities, including scope management impact analysis and gap analysis

-Knowledge of client server applications, Web applications, Web services, security, performance, user interface, and Section 508 compliance

-Possession of excellent client relationship and management skills to serve in a key client-facing role

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Agile Certification
