Charlotte Commercial Market Business Development Leader

Key Role:

Build and grow new and existing Charlotte Market client relationships across market verticals. Engage client leadership to promote existing Cybersecurity service offerings and partner with engagement leadership to secure client engagements, including all aspects of marketing, proposal development, deal closure and engagement level relationship management. Support client projects in multiple commercial markets particularly within the Cybersecurity domain. Work with the team to develop and review high-quality interim and final deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Coordinate with senior leaders to develop new business opportunities and author the approach for proposals. Participate in the shaping and delivering of cutting-edge service offerings using industry leading tools.


Basic Qualifications:

-9 years of experience in developing, growing, and leading relationships with commercial clients in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to work with senior partners and executive officers to foster positive client and vendor relationships, identify new business opportunities with existing clients, and develop mutually beneficial partnerships

-Ability to grow consulting revenue year over year at clients in the relevant market

-BA or BS degree or 15+ years of experience in a professional work environment


Additional Qualifications:

-5 years of experience in top tier management and consulting firms, including supporting large clients and large engagements

-Experience in multiple market verticals, including financial services, healthcare, energy, consumer products, high technology, and pharmaceuticals

-Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff on business development expertise

-Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment

-Possession of excellent client facilitation skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree
