Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Mission Analyst

Key Role:

Conduct survivability and endurability analysis of National Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems across US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) mission areas. Assess the potential national, strategic, and operational impacts resulting from the loss or disruption of critical NC3 systems, assets, and the associated infrastructure. Perform research and development to comprehend the impact of adverse environments, including weapons of mass destruction (WMD) effects and asymmetric attacks on mission critical systems and associated infrastructure, evaluate the technical efficacy of planned or implemented solutions in meeting USSTRATCOM mission requirements, assess the adequacy of USSTRATCOM solutions to meet mission assurance, including survivability and endurability requirements established by the National Command Authority, and conduct data collection efforts that are critical to the Mission Assurance mission. Identify procedures for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Perform scientific and technical assessments and prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with providing support to operational units conducting Chemical, Biological, and Radiological (CBR) defense and survivability activities, including the use of CBR equipment or training personnel on equipment use and procedures

-Knowledge of completing CBR defense and survivability operational readiness assessments

-Active TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree or 8+ years of experience with CBR scientific or technical analysis

-Formal Training or Certifications in the employment of CBR Detection, Protection, or Decontamination equipment

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in interfacing with or being assigned to civilian first responders, Host Nation personnel, and other federal, state, or local emergency management personnel and organizations preferred

-Experience with safe handling and transportation of CBR or HAZMAT materiel preferred

-Experience with using hazard modeling and prediction tools preferred

-Knowledge of and training on HAZMAT response
