Chief Architect

Key Role:
Act as a senior business leader responsible for managing programs and projects throughout the system delivery life cycle in the health market. Provide senior oversight and direction on technical management, service delivery, and overall contract performance. Maintain responsibility for driving proposal and business development activities. Oversee and apply advanced comprehension of principles of information technology and data management to the advancement of life sciences research, advanced analytics, and digital healthcare solutions to address client business and operational needs. Leverage expertise in systems engineering, architecture design, software development and implementation to help architect and lead development of technical solutions for federal health clients.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-15+ years of experience with managing the development of integrated hardware and software systems in a federal government or commercial entity, including a successful track record for designing, developing, and supporting business applications
-5 years of experience with managing projects using various SDLC models, including Scrum, SAFe, CMMI, Agile, and spiral development
-2+ years of experience with Cloud-enabled solutions, including AWS or Azure, architecture development, and "As a Service" offerings
-Experience with Data Warehousing (DW) development, extracting, translating, and loading (ETL) data using tools such as SAS, Informatica, SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL, and using various platforms, including HP, Solaris, Windows, and AWS
-Experience with managing large government contracts
-Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) and data management concepts with an emphasis on data ingest, data curation, and data standardization and harmonization
-Ability to leverage business acumen, including driving the technical solution and capture for multi-million-dollar IT solutions in the federal space
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree 
-Project Management Institute Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with leading large scale technical engagements at VA a plus
-Experience in a professional services business preferred
-Possession of excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective senior government clients
-Possession of excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
-PhD degree in a technical field preferred
-KMS Certification preferred
