Chief Cybersecurity Architect

Key Role:

Partner with DoD and Army market clients to determine their offensive and defensive Cyber risk environment as an executive, leader, and Cybersecurity subject matter expert focused on Cybersecurity solutions and capabilities, identify opportunities, craft program strategies, and analyze tactical action plans to achieve Cybersecurity objectives. Work within a collaborative environment to develop, design, and implement innovative Cyber defense and operations offerings by applying a mix of strategic and technical knowledge of DoD and Army network environments, Cyber operations, enterprise services, up-to-date technologies, and DoD IT or Cyber policies and act as a program manager and leader for IT projects in all phases of planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of technology services over teams that may exceed 30 professionals. Brief results of marketing activity to senior leadership and provide updates on growth measures. Lead diverse teams of management consultants and engineers to develop high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment and serve as primary interface with senior clientele. Serve as part of Booz Allen’s Army market account leadership team, conducting business development by determining market needs, establishing new business opportunities, and leading pursuit activities. Foster positive client relationships to promote trust and grow revenue potential. Lead the attraction, development, and retention of diverse talent.

Basic Qualifications:

-12+ years of experience with DoD and Army Cybersecurity, network operations, or information assurance programs or projects

-5+ years of experience in successfully partnering with senior-level decision-makers within the DoD, Department of the Army, and individual Armed Services

-Experience with assessing, analyzing, or implementing security programs or specific capabilities, including governance, incident response, threat intelligence, security monitoring, and vulnerability management

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including developing high-end, polished PowerPoint decks per strategy consulting firm expectations and with leading business development efforts, white papers, and proposals

-Experience with working through strategic and technical Cybersecurity aspects

-Knowledge of HQ-level IT or Cyber organizations, DoD and Army IT or Cyber policies, and the relationships between primary Army operations, engineering, and acquisition organizations

-Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple views, perspectives, and data sets as part of comprehensive client problem discovery and solution design

-TS/SCI clearance

-BS degree in IT or 15+ years of experience with Cyber

-IAM or IAT III Certification, including CISM or CISSP required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working as a project manager and leading programs involving Cyber operations, network management, and IT services

-Experience with conducting business development activities across the consulting life cycle, including ideation, lead generation, pursuit, deal closure, and relationship management

-Ability to work with and report to senior military leadership

-Ability to distill and articulate complex messages for technical and non-technical audiences in oral and written forms

-Ability to excel in face-to-face client interaction during both project execution and administrative discussions and perform thorough quality control on commercial client-ready deliverables

-Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills

-Active TS/SCI clearance or higher preferred

-PMP Certification preferred

-Technical certification in at least one area, including CCNP or MCITP
