Chief Data Scientist

Key Role:

Oversee the usage of expertise in technical and analytical work to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of designing inquiries that can provide a competitive advantage or address a pressing business problem by discovering patterns and previously hidden insights. Serve as a senior technical leader of a data science team, leveraging experience with consulting to define business problems, analyze data science and artificial intelligence business strategies and move analytical models into production environments. Bring expertise in analytics and strategic planning to a data science team. Work across client sets to address business challenges, perform analysis, and explain the analysis to senior clients. Lead the identification of opportunities to apply knowledge of and expertise in deep learning technologies to analyze prototypes and analytic models to challenges with new and existing clients through the application of new, innovative capabilities. Lead and support engagements across government clients, provide thought leadership, drive business growth within the market, and develop and maintain client relationships. Take an active role in the development, mentoring, and coaching of the team, work actively to enhance the diversity of the firm, and play a lead role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience with developing analytical processes and products

-5+ years of experience with developing enterprise analytic strategies and frameworks

-Experience with developing and mentoring staff at all levels and building an internal capacity to deliver high quality and highly innovative analytics services

-Experience with developing and implementing a successful market strategy and business development and leading proposal, project, and intellectual capital creation

-Experience with strategic planning and developing implementation processes for national security issues
-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or Mathematics

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing analytics in a production environment

-Experience with developing and driving cross-cutting capabilities or solutions

-Experience with business development and leading proposal, project, and intellectual capital creation

-Experience with training an analytical workforce through developing curricula or teaching

-Experience with presenting at conferences and in front of senior level clients

-Ability to be well-versed in modern software development techniques, methods, and technologies
 

Clearance:
