Key Role:
Supervise the construction, maintenance, and alteration of structures and facilities, including railroads, roads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, tunnels, power plants, water and sewerage systems, and waste disposal units. Estimate personnel needs and schedules and work to meet completion dates and technical specifications. Work out proposals and cost estimates, evaluate progress and results, and recommend major changes to procedures or objectives. Apply expertise in the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the particular field of specialization. Leverage established procedures and work under immediate supervision to perform assigned tasks, including completing routine work with detailed instructions.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with performing condition assessments for facilities, bridges, dams, rail, airfield pavement, and roads
-Experience with sustainment management systems (SMSs), including builder, paver, and railer
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or 2+ years of experience with engineering or facilities programs
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with DoD installation support and the USMC preferred
-Experience with the deployment of sustainment management systems, including builders
-Ability to work on client site at least 3 days a week
-Ability to travel up to 30%
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
