Client Facing Human Resources Specialist

Key Role:

Provide consulting support within an Acquisition Category (ACAT) I Major Automated Information System (MAIS) program for a DoD Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Function as the primary point of contact for the federal recruitment Human Resources (HR) process. Serve as an advisor and consultant on position classifications for the medicine information systems program, including position management considerations to leadership. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of the project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of the project. Leverage knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and lead and direct the work of others.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience in the human resources field

-Experience with leading federal human resources responsibilities, including assessing requirements for position management and research to meet the staffing needs and classification and recruitment management collective for position data, such as new applicants and selection

-Experience with preparing certification lists and summaries for the hiring manager

-Experience with interpreting and applying classification standards, determining effective, efficient, and economical organization and position structures, position management policies, and practices as they relate to OPM, DoD, and DHA programs

-Experience with information systems

-Ability to assist with command award board process and serve as a military awards liaison

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree or BA or BS degree and 14 years of experience in the human resources field may be substituted

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with military personnel and inside a military or civilian program office

-Experience as a US staffing administrator, including reviewing and submitting job analysis, vacancy announcement, and documentation, preparing resume review for panel members selected to interview, and pulling and reviewing documentation for interviews

-Experience with working all logistics for onboarding government and contractor onboarding and status tracking

-Experience with processes to develop positions description requests for military reservists Active Duty for Special Work (ADSW) program, through researching the OPNAVI 1001.20C, including the upload, resume review, and submission for interview and selection

-Experience as a yeoman or military administrative work

-Secret clearance
