Clinical Process Improvement Manager

Key Role:

Use patient safety and process improvement expertise to improve the Military Health System (MHS). Work closely with the client to comprehend their objectives to manage various projects and initiatives to completion that improve quality and patient safety. Design and conduct healthcare process improvement analysis for military medical facilities and the MHS. Leverage a range of methods, including Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen or Rapid Improvement Events, Value Stream Analysis, Just Do It, and Voice of the Customer, to support improvements in patient safety, quality of care, access to care, and improvement of health outcomes. Provide analytical support, translate clinical information, develop insights, and compile presentations for clients. Develop and implement performance improvement plans. Assist with scoping projects, developing methodologies, and managing process improvement efforts.


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with conducting process improvement in a healthcare environment

-4+ years of experience with health operations or clinical work

-Experience with analytic tools, including Microsoft Excel and Access

-Knowledge of evidence-based practice management and Joint commission

-Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology

-Ability to display analytical expertise, including statistics and operational analysis or research and breaking a problem down into manageable pieces of work or analysis

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-BA or BS degree in a clinical field preferred
