Everyone is trying to “harness the power of the Cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a Cloud architect, you know how to build a Cloud based technical architecture that meets customer needs and takes advantage of Cloud capabilities. What if you could use your Cloud architecture skills to improve defense missions? We need you to help us develop Cloud based solutions to some of aerospace industry's toughest challenges.

As a Cloud architect on our team, you’ll support efforts to design and deploy a secure, Cloud based solutions to support mission critical operations. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on premise, Cloud based, and hybrid resources. You’ll learn how to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges in Cloud migration from an experienced team.You’ll work with your customers and technology team to ensure standards are met as we guide them through Cloud migration. This is an opportunity to learn the latest Cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your customer’s environment using current Cloud capabilities. You’ll be able to gain experience in Cloud based architecture while developing critical systems for space-based missions. We focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture
• Experience with Cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google
• Experience with Platform As a Service (PaaS) enterprise components and vendors implementing those components
• Knowledge of how Cloud technologies work together, compatibility and the best use of resources across the organization combined with technical solutions resulting in an open source solution
• Ability to work collaborative in a technology team to solicit feedback and input from team members to design and implement the best Cloud solution for the mission area
• Secret clearance
• BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in space-based mission area
• Knowledge of space situational awareness ground systems and mission applications being developed
