Cloud Cybersecurity Architect

Key Role:

Partner with federal and commercial clients to execute comprehensive Cloud security solutions that support business needs and objectives in complex environments. Analyze the creation of technical roadmaps, project plans, requirements, designs, and implementation plans in commercial Cloud solutions, including AWS and Azure. Leverage expertise in deep technical work, knowledge of IT security compliance policies, and expertise in Cloud computing and network security to advise and educate both technical and non-technical members of the client's organization and of the firm to achieve objectives. Provide direct technical support and lead teams of engineers in the development of project and investment deliverables. Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends independently for impact and applicability to client challenges. Work closely with clients, leadership, and vendors in formal and informal environments to gain approvals, overcome obstacles, and reach consensus in the furtherance of the client's mission and the firm's Cloud security strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with administering, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise or government IT systems or networks

-2+ years experience in working with AWS, Azure, or private Cloud environments, including production

-Experience with designing and implementing network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and authentication

-Experience with the full software or systems development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and implementation

-Experience with administering Linux and Windows servers

-Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and technologies

-Ability to automate the provisioning and configuration of Cloud-based environments

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Associate-level AWS Certification
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with client programs or systems a plus

-Experience with deploying and administering Web application firewalls, IPS and IDS, and next generation firewalls

-Experience with deploying and administering Splunk or other SIEM tools, McAfee ePO or other host-based security tools, and Tenable Nessus or other vulnerability scanning tools

-Experience with implementing data at rest and data in transit encryption capabilities

-Knowledge of federal IT and Cloud security policies, including FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD Cloud SRG, and how to apply them to Cloud security architectures

-Knowledge of software development methodologies in one or more of the following languages: .NET, Java, PHP, Perl, Python, or Ruby

-CEH, Security+, or CISSP Certification preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
