Cloud Engineer

Key Role:

Design an architectural diagram for different applications before migrating into amazon Cloud for flexible, cost-effective, reliable, scalable, high-performance and secured. Conduct proof-of-concept, develop prototypes and reference models, and create multiple VPC's and public and private subnets. Support requirements and distribution of groups into various available zones of the VPC. Create RDS instances to serve data through servers for responding to requests, including designing and architecting serverless computing and implementation using AWS Lamda. Assist in designing, automating, implementing and sustainment of Amazon Machine Images (AMI) across the AWS Cloud environment and configuring elastic load balancers and auto scaling groups to distribute the traffic and be cost efficient, flexible and available as needed. Assist with Simple Storage Service (S3) buckets in various life cycle policies to archive the rarely accessed data storage classes based on requirement.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience as an Amazon Web Service (AWS) practitioner, and working on architecture, design and implementation of on-permanent, off-permanent and hybrid Cloud solutions using AWS

-2+ years of experience with HTML, Java scripts -knockout.js, and Angular.js

-Experience with AWS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation, Glacier, RDSConfiguration , Route53, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, APIGateway, ElasticCache, RedShift, DynamoDB, AutoScaling, Aurora, Lamda, Direct Connect, EMR, Elastic Beanstalk, and Elastic File System (EFS)

-Experience in analyzing workloads, debugging and tuning performance at system level

-Experience with REST APIs

-Knowledge of system development in Cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DevOps processes and Agile methodologies

-Experience with programming languages, including Java, C++, Python, Ruby, and Perl 

-Experience with development tools, including GitHub, Jenkins, Redmine, and Linux OS

-Experience with Cloud Watch to monitor resources such as EC2, CPU memory, Amazon RDS DB Services, EBS volumes to set alarm for notification or automated actions, and to monitor logs for comprehension and operation of the system

-Experience with Installation of AWS CLI to control various AWS services through Shell and Bash scripting

-Ability to IAM for creating roles, users, and groups to provide additional security to AWS account and its resources.
