Cloud Security Architect, Junior

Key Role:

Assist with developing a comprehensive plan which extends Army Cybersecurity services to the Cloud for Army application owners. Maintain responsibility for developing, enhancing, or validating Cloud Cybersecurity Services Provider (CSSP) Concept of Operations (CONOPS) based on existing or evolving DoD and Army Cloud policies. Create or modify Cloud services–related policies and procedures based on best business practices, develop a CSSP cost estimate or rate card applicable for each Cloud Service Offering (CSO) by each Cloud Service Provider (CSP), develop a method to ensure that the client can fulfill its CSSP functions for each CSO, develop a plan or process by which the client can properly align current Army Cloud clients and bring in new clients, assist with developing agreements with approved CSPs, research, review, and analyze other CSSPs for best–of–breed products, and develop or maintain tracking mechanisms for Army applications migrating to the Cloud. Assist with analyzing, developing, and drafting military decision–making process inputs and outputs. Plan, participate in, or lead formal and informal meetings. Brief and advise senior military and civilian clients.

Basic Qualifications

-Experience with Cloud computing in a private or government sector

-Experience with virtual system or network environments

-Knowledge of the military decision–making process (MDMP) and Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) and their respective products, inputs, and outputs, including military plans and orders

-Knowledge of current DoD, Service, or Joint Cyberspace system and network concepts and constructs 

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree or 7+ years of experience with Cloud services and network planning

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Army

-BA or BS degree in IT or Cybersecurity
