Coalition Budget Management Analyst

Key Role:
Analyze the preparation of operation budgets for an international organization based on national contributions, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other factors. Review the expenditures of requisitioning departments to ensure conformance to budget, maintain a record of expenses, inventories, and budget balances, and audit vouchers and expense accounts. Maintain records of actual operating figures for comparison with estimated budget, analyze the installation of budgetary control systems, and use a computer to input, retrieve, or display budget information. Apply comprehensive knowledge of the particular field of specialization to the completion of complex assignments. Plan, conduct, and supervise assignments under general supervision. Review progress and evaluates results, interpret and apply organization policy, and recommend changes to procedures. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with a multinational or country-led coalition, including coalition-like forums and comprehending coalition constructs and budgetary dynamics
-Experience with operating in the Middle East and MENA’s regional issues and challenges
-Experience with coalition-like budget constructs, challenges, processes, and procedures
-Knowledge of international coalition environments
-Ability to conduct management consulting, including onsite client interaction
-Ability to travel across the MENA region
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required
-CPA License or equivalent
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to speak Arabic or French a plus
-Possession of excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills
