Cognitive Performance Coach, Lead

Key Role:

Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of psychology, performance psychology, counseling, or kinesiology to conduct research across functional areas, including cognitive enhancement and accelerated learning, instructor development and training, tactical training, holistic human performance training, curriculum development technology and software development and research, and program evaluation and assessment. Analyze and identify needs and provide viable interventions, including training and performance support. Analyze the development of research procedures. Use simulation technology and biofeedback to promote excellence and efficiency during physical, technical, and tactical training during the challenges of combat operations or pressure situations. Gather data and comply information into documents regarding sport psychology and leverage expertise in cognitive enhancement training techniques. Apply expertise in the subject matter, including industry best practices for operational and functional physical fitness from military and professional sports to the development of training and other technology-based learning solutions.
 

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with psychology, counseling, or kinesiology, including sport and performance psychology

-Experience with conducting research on psychology, counseling, or kinesiology

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree

-Army Performance Expert Certification

-Association for Applied Sports Psychology Consultant Certification
 

Additional Qualifications:

-TS/SCI clearance

-PhD degree

-Graduate of Army’s Master Resilience Training Course
