Collections Specialist, Lead

Key Role:

Lead day-to-day collections activity for several large client accounts. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to ensure resolution of outstanding payment issues. Prepare monthly collection forecasts and track daily cash received against targets. Manage and provide effective oversight of collection controls and processes.  Identify, report, and manage risk around ethics compliance, cash collections, and cash applications.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with government contracting

-10 years of experience in collections with government contracting

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail and accuracy

-Ability to generate ideas readily, exhibit creativity and ingenuity, and solve problems quickly

-Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and develop process efficiencies, where required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including project and time management

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
