Command and Control Lead

Key Role: 
Lead the development of controls for developmental electromagnetic weapon systems. Conduct a variety of engineering tasks regarding the development, operation, and maintenance of controls technology for complex developmental systems. Leverage expertise in a variety of technical disciplines, including electronics, software, mathematical, and scientific specialties. Solve complex technical problems of critical importance to the organization's technical direction. Develop and validate control requirements for electrical or electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects, and structures and architectures to integrate components into higher level systems and platforms. Plan, conduct, and technically direct major phases of significant projects, including coordinating the efforts of engineers, software developers, technicians, and support staff in the performance of cutting-edge technology development.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with command and control of weapon systems
-5+ years of experience with leading engineering teams as a technical or team lead
-Experience with military command and control systems development and operations
-Knowledge of sensors or systems, including optical, infrared, and multispectral, characteristics, including resolution, sensitivity, frequency response, dynamic range, and noise characteristics, and applied and environmental physics, including radiometry, propagation, attenuation, absorption, performance factors, and polarization
-Knowledge of control loops, signal or image processing techniques, safety interlock systems, test control and communications within a system and test range infrastructure
-Active Secret clearance
-BS degree in Engineering or CS
 

Additional Qualifications: 
-Experience with command, control, and communications systems development and operations
-Experience with large integrated systems of hardware and software
-Experience with laboratory or field tests
-Knowledge of battle command and control, radar, missile defense, or air operations
-MS degree preferred
 

Clearance: 
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
