Command and Control Technical SME

Key Role:

Conduct a variety of engineering tasks related to the development, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems. Ensure integration of processes of methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system. Use a variety of technical disciplines, including electronics, software, mathematical, and scientific specialties. Apply leading–edge principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge in the area of expertise. Solve the most complex technical problems of critical importance to the organization's technical direction. Apply knowledge of Air Force Command and Control Weapons systems development and operations. Communicate with senior DoD leadership, be recognized as an expert in the field, and lead the development and implementation of key technologies for the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

-18 years of experience with operational, program, and technical work with AF Command and Control Weapon Systems, including AOC, AWACs, JSTARS, and CRC

-10+ years of experience in Air Force command and control systems development and operations

-Ability to communicate with senior leadership in the defense department

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree in Technology

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Command Control and Communications systems development and operations

-Experience with large integrated systems of hardware and software

-Experience with military or management in a defense contractor environment

-Knowledge of battle command and control, radar, missile defense, or air operations

-DAWIA Level I, II, or III Certification
