Commercial Life Sciences Business Development, Executive Leader

Key Role:
Position all the firm’s Cybersecurity capabilities to the Health and Life Sciences market. Support the execution of commercial market relationship development and sales strategy across pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms. Develop and maintain key senior client contacts and relationships across target firms. Leverage existing contacts and relationships to establish routine meetings and appointments with the target stakeholders to collaborate on priority business and technical challenges with a focus on advanced capabilities and technologies. Introduce the firm’s capability and industry experts to target stakeholders to position and engage on client opportunities and share intellectual capital with target stakeholders to shape future opportunities and procurements. Build social capital within the client base and establish long term relationships built on trust.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with technical professional service sales, including full life-cycle solutions to large Fortune 100 clients
-Experience with advisory consulting and commercial market business development
-Experience with building long term client relationships in the commercial marketplace for advisory services
-Experience with developing and selling to senior executives, including the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries
-Experience with working in the Cybersecurity domain, including its concepts and trends
-Experience with planning and growing and closing a robust pipeline
-Experience with developing market strategies for relationship development and account growth
-Ability to travel 100% of the time
-BA or BS degree required
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with closing business deals focused on full life-cycle project-based strategy, technology, and management consulting solutions in the private sector markets
-Experience in similar role with a large system integrator or management consultancy, including commercial market selling complex capabilities
-Experience with leveraging complex sales tools, including CRM, contact management, opportunity tracking, and lead management to compress sales and relationship development cycles
-Experience with leading proposal efforts to effectively position, engage, and close business for technical and professional services
-Ability to grasp complex, cross-functional subject matter, including people, process, and technology aspects of change across multiple business units
-Ability to be a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to be effective in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
-Possession of excellent business consulting skills
-Possession of excellent listening and oral and written communication skills
-MBA or MS degree preferred
