Communications Engineer, Lead

Key Role:
Work with senior-level engineers and staff overseeing development, management, maintenance, and updates of networking and legacy waveforms for Joint DoD applications, including the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS). Serve as an expert for product development reviews and in DoD governance of Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs). Manage system roadmaps and architectural documentation. Act as a key member of technical readiness assessments, Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and Risk Management (RM) boards. Deliver expertise in Software Defined Radio (SDR) and enterprise requirements, stakeholder and user community use cases, and system of system test events. 

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with supporting current and legacy waveforms for SDRs and the JTRS program
-10+ years of experience with supporting product roadmaps for SDRs or Tactical Data Link (TDL) programs
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Additional Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with project management, earned value management, and risk management for major DoD programs preferred
-Experience with managing across all areas of the DoD Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) process preferred
-Top Secret clearance
-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
