Community Partnerships Summer Intern

Key Role:

Assist the firm’s community partnerships team with planning, implementing, and evaluating initiatives and events and engaging employees in volunteerism, fundraising, and usage of corporate social responsibility tools and programs. Update existing promotional content and develop new content, including fact sheets, annual report, and toolkits and drive efforts to implement new ways of reaching audiences. Leverage existing tools and platforms to collect relevant data on employee engagement efforts and work directly with external vendors and key stakeholders to provide recommendations for process improvements and increase engagement rates. Work closely with social media, Web site, media relations, and employee engagement teams to develop and disseminate community involvement content across multiple channels.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with social media for professional purposes
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Experience with analytics and research
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team
-Pursuing a BA or BS degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or Writing

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with a variety of writing styles, including newsletters or internal communications, blogs, social media, Web, and scripts
-Experience with managing projects through previous internship or in-depth coursework
-Ability to be an energetic self-starter
-Ability to have high engagement with and activity on social media, including SnapChat, Instagram, and Twitter
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent time management skills
-Possession of excellent problem solving skills
-Pursuing a MA or MS degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or Writing
