Computer and Technical Support Engineer

Key Role:

Support Booz Allen Hamilton offices by installing and maintaining computer networks and workstations. Serve as a technical generalist and maintain responsibility for local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), electronic mail management, hardware installation and repair, software configuration and applications, and telephone, voice mail, and video conferencing operations. Coordinate, support, or distribute new products made available to Booz Allen Hamilton staff. Train client-facing and internal staff on software applications. Conduct occasional business travel to provide onsite support to remote offices, as needed in support of information services.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in working with appropriate computer technologies, including hardware, network, and software

-3+ years of experience with supporting Wintel computers and Microsoft OS platforms

-Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X desktops, notebooks, tablets, peripheral, and networking infrastructure and operations

-Knowledge of basic LAN and WAN and wireless networking technologies, including Microsoft Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, Windows NetBIOS and WINS, and 802.11 wireless and 802.1x certificate authentication

-Ability to display oral and written proficiency in English

-Ability to travel internationally

-Ability to work in Singapore for an indefinite amount of time without sponsorship

-BA or BS degree or 3+ years of experience in the IT in lieu of a bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to collect and examine technical data from a variety of sources and offer solutions

-Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and use initiative to accomplish results

-Ability to work under pressure

-Ability to work as a team player
