Computer Network Operations Engineer

Key Role:

Provide technical and engineering support in the exploitation and remediation of information technology infrastructure and remote computer systems. Leverage expertise in computer network and telecommunication network systems and Cyber operations. Work in closely coordinated technical operations. Assist the government with the identification, exploitation, and remediation of infrastructure and system vulnerabilities, developing and implementing offensive or self-defending networks, developing and defending effects-based capabilities, and reverse engineering of systems exploitations, including computer forensics, and analysis of binaries, assembly language, source code, or malicious logic code.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with using exploitation frameworks, including Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, or PowerShell Empire.

-Experience with developing or modifying existing tools to support penetration tests or Red team engagements

-Knowledge of Android or iOS development and reverse engineering 

-Knowledge of network security issues at all protocol layers

-Ability to consolidate, analyze, create, and brief findings on vulnerabilities and associated risks

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, MA or MS degree in CS, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, PhD degree in CS, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 3 years of experience CS, Technology, or Engineering, or Mathematics

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in a Windows and UNIX or Linux environment

-Knowledge of various Internet protocols, including 802.11, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SSH, various security technologies, including VPNs, proxies, firewalls, personal and enterprise security products, Apache, Nginx, Wireshark, tshark, and iptables, underlying software defects that routinely result in security vulnerabilities, including input validation errors, programming languages, including Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, C/C++, Assembly, Java, and Swift, and vulnerability discovery and exploitation concepts and tools

-Knowledge of computer system and Internet security issues, reverse engineering, debugging and security testing techniques, security auditing practices, intruder techniques and software exploitation methods, system, database, and network administration, operational details of multiple operating systems, and cryptographic principles and common cryptographic protocols

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent leadership and mentoring, analytical, reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills

-Ability to work meticulously with careful attention to detail, collaborate effectively within a team environment, quickly learn new technical procedures, techniques, and approaches, and motivated to tackle challenging technical problems where situations evolve quickly

-Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE)

-Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) - Offensive Security

-Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP) - Offensive Security

-GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) 

-GIAC Certified Penetration Tester - (GPEN)
