Configuration Management Analyst

Key Role:
Analyze and maintain configuration management processes and documentation. Maintain responsibility for all aspects of software, hardware, and documentation configuration management. Compile and assemble software from source code and ensure source code is stored in source control. Support developers for software package registry and delivery, work with developers to correct build errors, and administer and configure configuration management tools and the SharePoint team site. Analyze the development of software development and software maintenance plans in conjunction with the lead developer. Maintain responsibility the integrated master schedule for the project using MS Project and create Configuration Control Board (CCB) agendas, and facilitate CCBs or Technical Review Boards (TRBs). Create notice of revisions and distribute them to all applicable parties.


Basic Qualifications:
-1+ years of experience with configuration management

-3+ years of experience working in a professional environment
-Experience with software tools, including JIRA, GitHub, Sub-Version, DOORS, and Microsoft Team Foundation Services (TFS)
-Experience with performing all areas of configuration management (CM), including planning, identification, change control, status accounting, and validation and verification for multiple product baselines
-Experience with using the CM Library and the project's CM tools
-Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
-Ability to analyze, document, implement, and maintain CM processes and activities in accordance with the MIL-HDBK-61A and ANSI/EIA–649
-Ability to facilitate monthly Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and Emergency CCBs, including  maintain the change control process of Class I and Class II change requests, schedule the CCBs, capture meeting minutes, obtain signatures for approved change requests, and maintain product baselines
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
-Ability to be self-motivated
-Ability to work independently and within a team environment
-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Configuration Management certification
-Security+ certification


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
