Configuration Management Specialist Lead

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for protecting the integrity of a project’s delivered products, from code to technical documentation. Leverage modern configuration-, application-, and life cycle-management tools and processes to maintain version control for software code, packages, libraries, containers, virtual machines, releases, and documents. Maintain responsibility for the project’s configuration management (CM) plan, facilitate configuration control boards, and establish the configuration management library. Identify the CM requirements for scalable Agile teams and allocate CM resources to ensure that each team has the staff needed to execute established CM processes. Coordinate with the CTL to address CM-related issues at all locations and deconflicts resourcing and procedural issues between Agile teams. Maintain responsibility for the supervision the CM team. 

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with software configuration management in a defense-related environment

-1+ year of experience with managing a CM team

-Experience with establishing and maintaining baselines and change control and conducing configuration audits, status accounting, and reviews

-Experience in generating or assisting with the development of CM plans, processes, and procedures

-Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word

-TS/SCI clearance

-BS or BE degree

-CMMP Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD clients preferred

-Ability to work with leadership, functional groups, and development teams

-Ability to work independently under general direction

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS or BE degree in EE, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related technical field
