Configuration Manager

The Charleston Digital Hub of Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking qualified candidates for a Configuration Manager in the Charleston, SC area.

What You'll Do

Perform all areas of configuration management (CM), including planning, identification, change control, status accounting, and validation and verification for multiple product baselines.  Maintain configuration identification and version control of software packages and documentation. Leverage experience with process improvement and the use and configuration of tools, including version control systems and issue tracking systems. Implement and ensure compliance with Change Management policies. Define and implement a Release Management process. Ensure project adherence to the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and Requirements Management Plan (ReqMP). Facilitate discussions with technical and non-technical audiences to identify requirements. Work with technical SMEs to author and maintain software documentation. Perform quality audits and provide inputs and review for deliverable documents. Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, as necessary, schedule the CCBs, and capture meeting minutes.

 

What You Need:

-5+ years of experience working in Configuration or Requirements Management
-Experience with developing CM plans and procedures
-Experience with facilitating change control board meetings
-Experience with administering CM tools and repositories
-Experience with identifying Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCIs) and generating build plans
-Experience with gathering and documenting functional and stakeholder requirements
-Experience with authoring and editing technical documentation
-Knowledge of Agile methodology and DevOps
-Knowledge of CM disciplines, including Planning and Management, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Configuration Verification and Audit
-Ability to communicate effectively with technical SMEs and project leadership
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

 

What Would Be Nice:

-Experience with DoD clients preferred
-Experience with JIRA administration
-Experience with SharePoint administration
-Professional CM Certification, including CMPIC Masters Certificate or equivalent


Clearance:
