Construction Security Manager

Key Role:
Serve as a construction site security manager, including leveraging construction security technicians (CSTs) and a construction security plan (CSP) to identify threats or risks while seeking to protect the integrity of facilities throughout renovation projects' life cycles successfully. Serve as the single point of contact regarding security on construction sites, manage the daily schedules of project-assigned CSTs, negotiate construction schedules to ensure adherence to the CSP, and notify the proper US government point of contact in the event any issues or deviations are proposed by the contracted construction crew. Analyze the drafting of standard operating procedures, construction security plans, and special instructions governing the construction security surveillance function. Implement all aspects of the CSP and conduct daily periodic security inspections during core hours of 0730 – 1600 for the duration of projects to ensure compliance with the CSP. Document security violations or deviations from the CSP and work with the construction firms to ensure security of the construction site and compliance with the requirements set forth in the CSP.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with construction security surveillance, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) construction, counterintelligence and surveillance operations, or technical surveillance countermeasures
-Knowledge of construction or building design
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree 
-20 Hour or Greater Site Security Manager Course Certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of construction guidelines and federal regulations
-Knowledge of Army facilities construction 

-Completion of locksmith training
