Construction Security Project Manager

Key Role:

Conduct onsite construction security, physical security, and blast assessment surveys of government facilities or potential sites worldwide. Develop assessment scenarios and write reports detailing the potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies based on these surveys. Perform Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditations. Oversee security activities, including construction security planning and monitoring, participation in security oversight inspections, liaison interactions with representatives of other government agencies, and contingency planning.


Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience with physical security
-3 years of experience with construction security for government or commercial facilities
-Experience with reviewing design and construction documents, preparing project specifications, developing record control documents, and generating presentation graphics
-Experience in interacting with government and contractor personnel at all levels in hierarchy

-Knowledge of the government’s physical security standards, use of analytical risk management process, or other corporate decision-making and problem-solving processes

-Knowledge of building codes and IT, mechanical, electrical, or communication systems, doors and door hardware, and the integration of high security systems, and security countermeasures

-Knowledge of building design, Mechanical Systems (MEP), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), ISC Risk Management Design-Basis Thread, OS Standards, GSA Progressive Collapse, intrusion detection systems, access control, and security systems engineering or integration

-Ability to travel domestically or overseas for the government, as required
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required

-HS diploma or GED required


Additional Qualifications:

-Ability continue to develop professional licenses, certifications, and expertise through formal training and on-the-job experience

-BA or BS degree in Engineering or related technical field

-Professional Project Manager Certification preferred


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
