Contingency Operations Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Research and facilitate the acquisition of new equipment for the client’s concept and analyze equipment effectiveness in support of client training and operational objectives. Provide analysis of the client’s unit reorganization, including personnel, equipment, and METL and provide recommendations for changes to the development plan, as needed or required. Provide recommendations in the development, planning, and execution of client-led Agile Combat Employment (ACE) exercises with PACAF and sister service organizations that meet the training objectives of the client’s concept development. Facilitate the integration of the client into PACAF and NAF planned exercises incorporating the ACE concept to further client TTPs. Assist with coordinating and de-conflicting PACAF client, NAF ACE squadron reorganization efforts, and similar HAF efforts. Assist with the preparation of client updates to PACAF leadership that highlight group development in restructuring equipment and personnel, new TTPs, and readiness to execute ACE. Provide recommendations to PACAF in refining strategic and long-range plans to incorporate new client TTPs and operational concepts.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience as a military-rated aviator, including pilot, navigator, WSO, or CSO, or air battle manager

-2+ years of experience with acquisitions

-Experience with designing and conducting comprehensive studies and preparing solutions to broad and critical military operational and contingency areas

-Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative or quantitative methods for assessment and improvement of command-level plans and programs

-Ability to plan, organize, and lead others in studies or projects

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in a Major Command headquarters staff

-Experience with Air Force groups

-Knowledge of the Pacific Command area of responsibility

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance
