Continuity Planner, Lead

Key Role:

Work within the intelligence community to ensure contingency, tactical, and strategic plans to meet and align to the overall presidential, national, and mission essential functions, when necessary. Develop programs, procedures, and contingency plans based on a risk approach and propose solutions that monitor, evaluate, and enable resolution of safety and continuity of operations compliance. Perform business impact analysis and risk assessments of essential functions and information systems. Assume a principal leadership role in presentations and demonstrations, furnish expert advice, and address executive management questions regarding disaster recovery. Monitor test results to ensure company readiness in case of emergency and staffing and budget reports to ensure compliance with the plan. Oversee personnel–related tasks that directly impact departmental staff, including performance assessment, training, management development planning, and counseling.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with emergency preparedness, continuity, and contingency planning

-Experience with coordinating across intelligence community agencies to drive comprehensive plans and procedures to improve interoperability, communication, efficiencies, and shared technological services during continuity–related events or disasters

-Experience with working across and in IC components to assist with the development, maintenance, or implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures

-Knowledge of executive– and federal–level policies and directives associated with continuity of operations, business continuity planning, and continuity of government and enduring constitutional government programs
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-HS diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in a professional work environment or BA or BS degree


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
