Contract Administrator, Lead

Key Role:

Work with other contract administrators at Booz Allen to touch every element of government acquisition, including requests for proposal, pricing, financial analysis, program management, and subcontracting. Negotiate and administer contracts with the US government and subcontracts with large and small business prime contractors across the breadth of contract types. Negotiate teaming and non–disclosure agreements and Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) plans. Perform as an advisor regarding legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.  Improve and develop business acumen and negotiation and public speaking expertise and earn a seat at the leadership table. Provide full life cycle strategic contracts administration leadership and support to internal and external clients for DoD and civilian agencies. 


Basic Qualifications:

-10 +years of experience with contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation

-Experience with fixed–price systems delivery contracts, including contracts for software development life cycle, systems delivery, and other IT services associated with customized software and COTS and GOTS solutions

-Experience with all contract types, including fixed-price, T&M, and cost reimbursable, GSA schedules, Government Wide Acquisition Contracts, BPAs, and Rapid Response IDIQs

-Experience with OCI terms and mitigation plans

-Experience with reviewing terms and conditions and statements of work for areas of risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures

-Experience in establishing agreements with Small Business prime contractors and SBA's Small Business Subcontractor Rule

-Knowledge of the systems development life cycle and contracting terms and conditions designed to reasonably bound risk

-Knowledge of federal government contracting and CPARS

-Knowledge of FAR and agency supplements, including the Veterans (VA) Acquisition Regulation (VAAR)

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to establish and maintain excellent client relationships with internal and external clients

-Possession of excellent time management and organization skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical skills to research and solve problems and mitigate risk
-MA or MS degree in a Business or Contracting field preferred
