Contracts Administrator, Lead

Key Role:

Lead and conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration of highly complex major contracts. Monitor company performance for conformance to original proposal. Serve as primary point of contact for customers. Act as the official company and contracts management representative regarding legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations. Provide work leadership for junior employees.


Basic Qualifications:

-10 +years of experience in contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation, including fixed-price systems delivery contracts, contracts for software development life cycle, systems delivery, and other IT services associated with customized software and COTS and GOTS solutions

-Experience with all contract types, including fixed-price, T&M, and cost reimbursable, GSA schedules, Government Wide Acquisition Contracts, BPAs, and Rapid Response IDIQs

-Experience with OCI terms and mitigation plans and reviewing terms and conditions and statements of work for risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures

-Experience in establishing agreements with small business prime contractors and SBA's small business subcontractor rule

-Knowledge of the systems development life cycle and contracting terms and conditions designed to reasonably bound risk

-Knowledge of federal government contracting and CPARS and FAR and agency supplements, including the Veterans (VA) Acquisition Regulation (VAAR)

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain excellent client relationships with internal and external clients

-Possession of excellent time management and organization skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical skills to research and solve problems and mitigate risk
-MA or MS degree in a Business or Contracting field preferred
