Corporate Development Integration Senior Manager

Key Role:
Lead an integration team within Booz Allen's Corporate Development team and guide senior leadership at the corporate, business unit, and functional level through the configuration of high-level operating model, including guiding them through detailed integration planning. Work with key stakeholders to translate a deal strategy into integration success, focus on identifying sources of transaction value, develop measurable key success factors to track integration achievement, and oversee program management activities across the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) life cycle, including schedule and scope development, issue and risk management, and strategic planning and analysis. Co-lead the diligence process, including assisting with framing diligence objectives, supporting diligence teams, and coordinating the reporting of diligence findings to senior leads, leverage expertise to help senior business leaders build and execute business and cultural integration plans, and provide dedicated support to expedite value capture. Lead integration activities for an acquired entity, including analyzing the operating model and associated integration plans for business and back-office functions, building and maintaining a consolidated master schedule, driving teams to meet defined integration plans, and leveraging expertise in problem solving to resolve highly complex and sensitive issues. Help build or refine defined M&A playbooks, oversee the reporting and resolution of issues, risks, and dependencies, identify potential planning gaps proactively, suggest mitigations to risks or actions to close issues or complete open items, and monitor and support acquired businesses to ensure a smooth and seamless transition post M&A, continually driving rapid growth and success. Spot and solve complex, cross-functional operational issues that are often unique to each deal creatively, perform as an advanced leader and consultant with capability expertise, excelling at client delivery, having developed expertise in a specific area, and take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to help the firm grow its business. Develop relationships with clients and apply demonstrated knowledge and trusted advice when interacting directly with senior-level clients.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with leading post-merger integrations
-Experience with structuring complex problems and delivering insights and recommendations
-Experience with using Microsoft Project and PowerPoint
-Ability to discuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience, then plan and execute solutions that are of recognizable value to the business
-Ability to leverage business acumen and awareness of key measures of business success for mergers, acquisitions, and the company’s strategic plan
-Ability to work with cross-functional business teams to identify fundamental business drivers and risks to those drivers, and translate them into modeling parameters
-Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse groups and senior-level management
-BA or BS degree
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with a consulting advisory firm or industry deal experience as part of a corporate development team with operational exposure across primary corporate functions, including HR, IT, finance, or legal
-Experience with managing multiple complex initiatives within the complete M&A life cycle preferred
-Possession of excellent strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills
-MBA, MA, or MS degree
