Corporate Investigations Counsel

Key Role:

Support an internal team within the legal department to conduct internal investigations involving compliance with Booz Allen’s internal policies and matters, including potential violations of the Procurement Integrity Act and other laws regarding contractor integrity, labor time charging issues, expense issues, data breaches, inadvertent information exposures, potential violations of the False Claims Act or the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other criminal or civil laws involving other industry scenarios that could require disclosure to the federal government or third parties. Work closely with other professionals in the legal department on issues involving ethics and compliance, business integrity, and data security issues. Collaborate with other internal teams to safeguard Booz Allen’s intellectual property and prevent loss of the firm’s proprietary information. 


Basic Qualifications: 

-5+ years of experience with conducting internal investigations in a law firm or corporate law department or government enforcement required 

-Experience with white-collar or other fraud investigations required 

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

-Ability to work with other compliance and investigative professionals 

-JD degree 

-Member in good standing with a US state bar 

Additional Qualifications: 

-Experience with government contracting preferred 

-Experience with handling confidential and classified matters or security clearances preferred 

-Experience with overseeing trained investigators preferred 

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills  

-Possession of excellent organizational, interpersonal, client relations, and team skills
