Corporate Pricing Summer Intern

Key Role:

Learn pricing fundamentals in a professional training and development environment, including gaining knowledge of important elements of our environment and becoming aware how the team serves as a highly impactful business partner at Booz Allen. Learn to review and assess client team technical estimates for adequacy with the firm’s estimating system and consistency with the cost proposal, and perform simultaneous assigned cost proposal processes and develop deliverables to ensure timely delivery and compliance with external client and firm standards under direct supervision. Assist in reporting key business metrics to decision makers, provide analytical support in developing estimates and perform cost, price and business analyses and estimates for proposal efforts. Support the team in the development and preparation of pricing schedules and cost volumes in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and work as part of the capture proposal teams, assist in preparing cost, price estimates strategies, including identifying risks, and learning to interpret solicitation requirements for various types of contracts, such as CPFF, CPAF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ task order, GSA schedules. Focus on ensuring compliance with firm policies, cost estimating standards, FAR, CAS, and solicitation requirements, including identifying deviations, as required, and review inputs and documents from proposal team members. Collaborate with cross functional teams contracts, subcontracts, program business support, compliance, people services on specific proposals. Support government and internal audits to ensure comprehension of financial data, methodology and applicability under appropriate government regulations, and surface questions and issues and implement solutions with the guidance of experienced analysts.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Pricing, Business or Finance career in a professional or educational environment

-Ability to work as part of a team

-Ability to pay strict attention to details

-Rising Junior scheduled to obtain BA or BS by December 2020, or May-June 2021

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent organizational skills 

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
