Corporate Social Media Manager

Key Role:

Help shape the future of Booz Allen’s digital presence as part of corporate marketing and communications. Contribute and provide support to Booz Allen’s enterprise-level social media presence across all channels, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant and emerging channels. Develop and execute paid and organic social media strategies and content that drives successful business outcomes for the firm. Develop and maintain a social media editorial calendar while working with content leads and marketers across the business. Create content per the editorial calendar and advise on content creation that aligns with marketing objectives, channel strategy, and target audiences. Track and monitor social analytics, contribute to reporting to demonstrate return on engagement, and identify and share insights and trends to drive strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with monitoring and drafting social media posts for publishing on official government agency, nonprofit organization, or corporate brand channels

-1+ years of experience with using Web or social media analytics tools to gather and analyze performance data to distill, identify, and report on actionable insights

-Experience with using modern social media tools and tactics, including sourcing content for social media channels, developing and editing social media content, supporting paid advertising campaigns, and analyzing social media performance

-Experience with writing and creating content social media channels and using social media management tools, including Hootsuite or Sprout Social
-Experience with monitoring social conversations and knowing when and how to respond to posts and engage with audiences and brand advocates appropriately

-Knowledge of how to advise on how different types of content, including how text, images, video, motion graphics, podcasts work on different social channels and resonate with target audiences
-Ability to seek new learning opportunities and apply lessons from market research, industry trends, and other companies and industries to inform recommendations that help achieve the firm’s digital marketing objectives

-Ability to be extremely detail-oriented, focused on ensuring a high level of quality control, and be a self-starter that can work independently and collaborate with a team

-BA or BS degree or Social Media, Digital Marketing, Inbound Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Advertising, Communications, Media, or Business Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working in a professional services firm or agency environment

-Experience with working in a B2B or B2G environment

-Experience with writing for social media and the Web to engage audiences and drive action

-Experience with developing and executing paid social ad campaigns

-Experience with live video on different social channels

-Experience with applying content marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), or Search Engine-Marketing (SEM) techniques
