Cost Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Provide leadership of various financial analysis, cost analysis, data gathering, and data analytics in support of a large DoD program. Act as the primary client interface in executing and leading all related drills and tasking. Develop Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Business Case Analysis (BCA), Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD), Program Office Estimates (POE), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and various ad-hoc financial analysis drills. Conduct data analysis of large data sets and input into major program briefs and acquisition documents. Assist with spend plan development, attend various program meetings, and develop affordability analysis or Spruill charts. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with cost estimating and analysis in a DoD environment

-Experience with Microsoft Excel

-Experience with DoD acquisition and support of major milestones

-Experience with performing Monte Carlo risk and uncertainty analysis with Crystal Ball

-Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision

-Ability to develop ad-hoc drills in short timelines

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing Business Case Analysis (BCA)

-Experience with developing Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD)

-Possession of excellent teamwork skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Operations Research

-Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Cost Estimator or Analyst (CCEA) Certification a plus
